The client was processing vehicle and material transactions through a weighbridge and then manually transferring the relevant information into the accounting system. This repetitive process consumed valuable time and created opportunities for data-entry errors, duplication, and delays.
The GTA Approach
GTA analyzed the existing weighbridge and accounting workflow and designed an automation layer to connect operational weighment data with the accounting process.
The Solution
GTA developed a Weighbridge-to-Tally Direct Entry Automation solution that captures relevant weighbridge information, validates the transaction, calculates net weight, maps the required party and material information, and transfers the transaction into Tally according to the configured business workflow.
The automated process can include:
Vehicle Entry → Gross Weighment → Tare Weighment → Net Weight Calculation → Data Validation → Party & Material Mapping → Automation → Tally Entry
The system also provides transaction monitoring, exception handling, posting status, and reconciliation capabilities.
